Perennial Birthday: Easy Masculine

Looking for an all-purpose masculine design? Today’s tutorial is for you!

Today’s card was designed for Tic Tac Toe Challenge. Design Team O is up this week with another fun challenge board.

Play along at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge - Inspiring you 8-ways each week! Find us @tttchallenge or New challenges every Thursday!

Don’t forget to leave a comment at the end of the post to qualify for my monthly giveaway!

For the Tic Tac Toe Challenge (#TTTC044). Featuring: Perennial Birthday, , Sitched Edge Ribbon, Foil Frenzy DSP, Tailored Tag Punch. Earn Pixel Points towards free tutorials and other products! For more details click through. #pmretreat #stampinup #birthday #masculine #handstamped

This time, I used every block except the Thank You block. If I’d had the right sentiment to fit the space, this would have been a thank you card – for a full board!

I love that this design is quick and simple. Swap out the DSP for another pattern, the background color for another rich, masculine color, and the sentiment for any other occasion and you have a quick set ready to go for any occasion.

Rhinestones? Yes, please! Even masculine cards can do with a bit of bling. Coloring these in black helps to keep them from popping too much, while still adding dimension and interest to the otherwise straight-forward design!

Hint: Use your Stampin’ Blends to color rhinestones in any shade you need!

If you like the look – be on the lookout next week for a tutorial and supply kit to make this card and a few variations so you have the perfect masculine cards for all sorts of occasions!

AECP: Faux-clipse Thank You Card

Don’t you just love the eclipse technique? How about the faux-clipse?
The eclipse technique is super fun and not too difficult, but I created a riff on the technique, I’m calling a faux-clipse.

On the CASE: Faceted Flower

It’s coming!
Spring is trying so hard to melt all the snow here in East Nebraska – but, it’s coming! Soon, the grass will be growing and little plants will be pushing up from the ground. Why not add to the anticipation with a lovely, but simple, faceted floral design, courtesy of Concord & 9th!

AECP: Build a Garden Scene Card

It’s time to chillax with some coloring!
I took my project over the top today with a combination of Copic and Polychromos pencil coloring. I am not embarassed to say that the elements took me about 90 minutes to color.
