summer fun release
This month’s release is themed “Summer Fun” – and, boy is it ever! I think you’ll find a little something for everyone. There’s florals, balloons, bears, geometrics, new Simple Coloring Stencils, and the new Mixed Media inks. Of course, there’s some bundles you can take advantage of!
mega label love
I recently did a Facebook Live over on the Altenew page where we explored the label stamps and how to get good results with the stamps. Who knew that we’d have a new label stamp to play with so soon?! (Um, yah… guilty! :O ) These labels in Mega Label Love are HUGE, and you’ll see them a few times in my projects today. For this first one, I paired the stamps with Charcoal Suit ink on Parchment cardstock. I love how the stamps didn’t leave a perfect impression. It was just the look I was going for in this masculine design! The sentiment comes from another new stamp set – Fragile Foliage.
miss you geometric
For this next card, I pulled the Fragile Foliage set in again, and paired it with Geometric Elements. The triangle pattern is repeated on the Parchment cardstock to make diamonds. You should start seeing the connecting elements here for this card collection – parchment + black/gray + orange + gold. It really makes for a stunning color combination, perfect masculine cards and a perfect gift set to give to a guy to use.
fragile foliage sympathy
The color palette for this card suite works so well to create a sympathy card. This design uses just the Fragile Foliage stamp set. The sentiments are so diverse in the set that it’s really an all-occasion set.
This next design is a whole mashup of new stamps and dies. The background of the shaker features Courageous You – a huge new floral stamp. Then, the top of the shaker features the Circled Greetings: Hugs die, along with some more geometrics from Geometric Elements. I used Artist Marker Set E to color in the floral…. love that orange!
a whole new world for your layering stamps
These inks are water-based pigment inks that become permanent and waterproof when heat set. As you can see, they layer beautifully and will open up a whole world of opportunity for all of your Altenew layering stamp sets!
