Introducing Columbine
This month’s Build-a-Flower is the gorgeous Columbine. It comes in a variety of colors, so be adventurous in your color selection! This is one of my favorite flowers – and it grows quite easily in the Midwest. This month, there is a special ink bundle option to help you get started with a lovely purple & yellow flower.
3 Colorways with the Same Inks
Though there are literally infinite color combinations you could create, I find the easiest way to create stunning results with the Build-a-Flower series is to use a set of coordinating ink cubes. In the case of the Columbine, I used two – Rose Petals for the outer petals, and Sugarplums for the center.

Color Variation
Of course, individual blooms are always a little different from each other – an extra dark streak, a little lighter than the rest – each is unique. So, why not stamp to reflect that too? Here’s three different ways to use the two ink sets to create different shades for color variation.
Thank You!
